Axe Wound
AxeWound is a supergroup formed in 2011[1] as a side project for Bullet For My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck. The band is completed by Liam Cormier of Cancer Bats (vocals), Mike Kingswood of Glamour of the Kill (guitar), Joe Copcutt formerly of Rise to Remain (bass) and Jason Bowld of Pitchshifter (drums).[2] The band was officially unveiled on May 1 2012 on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with their lead single, "Post Apocalyptic Party", premiered the same night, and made available for free download. Download Festival 2012 have recently confirmed to adding the band to the festival, in June. They will be playing on the 8th June 2012.
